Overseasidol.com — TVB award-winning actress Rosina Lam has broken her silence following recent rumors suggesting she is facing bankruptcy proceedings.
On May 30, Lin issued an official legal statement via her social media platforms, firmly denying any involvement in the alleged debt that led to the bankruptcy petition filed against her.
According to the legal document released by her lawyers, Rosina emphasized that she is not associated with any personal liabilities and will vigorously contest the claims in court to clear her name.
She also noted that she had not received any formal notification regarding the legal matter, calling the situation “completely baffling”.
Speaking to Hong Kong media, Lin further clarified that the issue likely stems from a legal dispute involving a company owned by her husband, which had rented a property and is currently undergoing an appeal process.
“Even I found it strange, as I never got any notice. The company involved is my husband’s, and it’s currently in litigation,” she explained.
The controversy began when a Hong Kong-based outlet reported that Rosina had been named in a bankruptcy petition filed at the High Court, with a follow-up hearing scheduled for August 26.
Public speculation was reignited due to Lam’s past, her husband Mo Zansheng was previously linked to an extortion case in 2019, a claim she had publicly denied back then.
Despite the media buzz, Lin Xiawei assured her fans that she will continue her work as usual and place her trust in the legal process.
The actress thanked supporters for standing by her and reiterated her commitment to resolving the matter lawfully.
