Overseasidol.com — Malaysian idol group KLP48 has officially announced the postponement of their highly anticipated first mini album, “First Cry”.
This debut album was originally scheduled to be released on June 6, 2025 and postponed to June 13.
According to a statement from their management, the delay is due to technical issues during the digital distribution registration process.
The mini album was initially revealed just days after the release of their third single, showcasing the group’s momentum and growing presence in the regional music scene.
“First Cry” is set to compile a diverse selection of previously performed songs, presented in multiple languages, emphasizing the group’s international flair and cross-cultural appeal.
Confirmed tracks include:
- Heavy Rotation (Malay version)
- Aitakatta (Japanese version)
- Shonichi (Chinese version)
- High Tension (Japanese version)
- Namida Surprise (English version)
- Iiwake Maybe (Malay version)
- Flying Get (Malay version)
While the delay comes as a disappointment to many fans, KLP48’s management assured that the mini album will be available digitally as soon as the registration hurdles are resolved.
