Overseasidol.com — Kitterick Yiu, a 47-year-old former TVB actor, recently shared an emotional video on social media revealing his latest venture selling coffee at a metro station in Changsha.
He calls the project “TVB Actors Re-Employment Coffee,” aiming to both start a business and inspire other workers.
In a video released on June 12, Yao recounted his long and winding career path.
He has worked not only as an actor but also as a model, host, restaurant owner, and truck driver.
This coffee stand is not his first attempt at entrepreneurship.
Kitterick said he has been selling coffee for four days and was deeply touched when customers told him they came after watching his livestreams.
His gratitude brought him to tears in the video.
The coffee prices at his stand are quite affordable. His “Salary Raise Americano” is only 7 yuan (about 1 USD), and the “Signature Cold Brew” costs 18 yuan (about 2,5 USD).
Yiu is known for his small roles in TVB dramas, including “Line Walker (2014)” alongside Raymond Lam and Charmaine Sheh.
He once went a full year without acting work. Three years ago, he moved to Changsha and began creating content on social media.
Now, he continues his journey through livestreaming and selling coffee, embracing a new chapter with courage and humility.
