Overseasidol.com — On November 31, BNK48 and CGM48 officially launched their special winter single, “12-Gatsu no Kangaroo,” also known as “December’s Kangaroo”.
The release serves as the winning reward from the Winter Song Project Vote held during the BNK48 & CGM48 Concert “CHAPTER: NEXT.”
The official performance video of the single was uploaded to BNK48’s YouTube channel on December 1, 2025, drawing an enthusiastic response from fans who had been eagerly awaiting this seasonal collaboration between the two sister groups.
The song features lyrics written by Yasushi Akimoto, music composed by Daisuke Toyama, arrangement by Ikuta Machine, and Thai lyrics adaptation by Tanupop Notayanont.
This winter single brings together senbatsu members from both groups. Representing BNK48 Team BIII is Marine Kotchapon.
From BNK48 Team NV, the lineup includes Arlee Chanakarn, Berry Jirapinya, and L Sirikorn.
BNK48 trainees joining the song are Blythe Natransa, Mayji Supitsara, Mirin Rinlisa, and Nammonn Nattamon.
From CGM48, Lookked Pimlapas represents Team C, while the participating trainees include Ginna Munchupa, Lingling Sirathreethip, and Nisha Nutthanisha.
“12-Gatsu no Kangaroo” arrives as a cheerful and heartwarming start to the winter season, showcasing the bright energy of the 48 Group with a fresh charm brought by this BNK48–CGM48 collaboration.
This song is Thai version of SKE48 16th Single main track’s 12-Gatsu no Kangaroo which released on 2014.
