Overseasidol.com — Exciting news has arrived for JKT48 fans. The Indonesian idol group has officially announced its 27th single, titled “Andai ’Ku Bukan Idola”.

It is the Indonesian version of AKB48’s hit song “Idol Nanka Janakattara (If I Weren’t An Idol)”.

The single is scheduled for release in February 2026, instantly drawing widespread attention from fans.

For this release, Fiony has been selected as the center, marking a significant milestone in her journey with JKT48.

She will lead the senbatsu lineup alongside Jessi, Marsha, Muthe, Kathrina, Michie, Freya, Christy, Gita, Gracie, Olla, Greesel, and Fiony herself at the forefront.

“Andai ’Ku Bukan Idola” tells an emotional story about the inner struggle of an idol who must suppress romantic feelings.

Unlike ordinary people, idols face strict expectations tied to their careers and fans.

The song portrays the difficult choice of remaining a devoted idol, choosing professionalism and loyalty over personal love until the end of one’s idol career.

Originally released by AKB48 as their 62nd single on September 27, 2023, “Idol Nanka Janakattara” resonated strongly with listeners due to its honest and heartfelt lyrics.

JKT48’s Indonesian adaptation is expected to bring a fresh emotional perspective that feels closer to local fans.

With its meaningful theme and Fiony stepping into the center role, JKT48’s 27th single is widely anticipated to become one of the group’s most talked-about releases in 2026.
