Speaking in a recent interview, Bow reacted playfully to the speculation, neither fully confirming nor denying the reports.
When asked whether she would be starring in a drama alongside Alek, Bow laughed and said she had no idea where the rumor came from.
She described the matter as still a “secret” and explained that any potential collaboration would depend on scheduling.
She jokingly advised fans not to “dream too much” before anything is officially confirmed.
However, Bow admitted that she would be happy to work with Alek again if the opportunity arises.
The couple previously appeared together in a music video, and she praised his talent, saying he is already very skilled and someone she can continue learning from.
When questioned about whether she would feel uncomfortable acting in scenes where their characters dislike each other, Bow responded humorously that she might not have the heart to do it.
She described Alek as too adorable to hate. Still, she emphasized her professionalism, explaining that she can clearly separate her real-life feelings from her acting roles.
For her, a character is just a character, and actors do not bring their true selves into every scene.
Bow Maylada also made it clear that she would have no issue acting opposite Alek in any role.
She warmly welcomed the possibility and jokingly added that anyone who disagreed might “get into trouble,” keeping the tone light and fun.
Beyond work, Bow shared small details about their relationship. She described herself as quite clingy with her boyfriend and complimented Alek’s new hairstyle, which features a very short buzz cut.
At first, she admitted she was not used to the look and even joked that when he came close, she briefly wondered who he was before realizing it was Alek with his fresh new style.
As for Valentine’s Day plans, Bow said she would be working first and might later enjoy a simple dinner together.
She has not planned anything elaborate and even mentioned she has not changed her manicure yet.
Regarding flowers, she laughed and said the economy is not great, so she does not expect much. Being together is already enough for her.
She even hinted that she would rather save money and buy a ring in the future.
