Overseasidol.com — The 2026 Songkran Festival has officially kicked off in spectacular fashion at King Power Rangnam, one of Bangkok’s most popular lifestyle and duty-free destinations.
Running from April 9 to April 14, the event blends Thailand’s rich traditions with modern entertainment, attracting both locals and international visitors.
Renowned Thai actor Apo Nattawin took center stage during the opening day parade, known as “Maha Songkran”.
Dressed in an elegant blue and yellow traditional outfit, he greeted fans from atop a parade float, setting a festive tone for the Thai New Year celebrations.

Joining the excitement were fan-favorite actors Jimmy Jitaraphol and Sea Tawinan, who brought youthful energy to the event.
Wearing vibrant purple and green outfits, the duo delighted attendees by playfully engaging in water fights, an iconic part of Songkran festivities, while interacting closely with fans on-site.
