Overseasidol.com — The upcoming Chinese drama Zhan Zhao Adventures, has officially announced its premiere date.
The series will begin airing on May 13 on CCTV-8, with exclusive online streaming available via Youku.
Starring Yang Yang and Zhang Ruonan, the drama follows the story of the legendary hero Zhan Zhao as he navigates both the martial arts world and government investigations.
The series is adapted from a fan fiction novel written by Minifish.
The plot centers on Zhan Zhao’s mission to uncover a rebellion conspiracy linked to Prince Xiangyang.
Along the way, he meets Huo Linglong and later teams up with Bai Yutang.
Together, they gather evidence and confront powerful enemies to restore justice and protect the people.
The series also stars Fang Yilun, Zhang Yuxi, and Yue Yang in supporting roles.
Xiu Qing, Lu Nuo, Zhang Ming’en, Jiang Zhenhao, Shi An, Wang Zirui, Xu Weiluo, and others also appear in this 37-episode drama.
