Overseasidol.com — Following the massive success of the Thai movie Gohan, which surpassed 100 million baht in revenue, production company GDH 559 has extended its impact beyond cinema through a heartwarming social initiative titled “Gohan”.
The event was held at Paw and Pal+ within Thonglor Pet Hospital (Rama 9 branch), transformed into a cozy and welcoming space for animal lovers.
The initiative aimed to connect stray dogs and cats with new, caring families.
Several animal welfare organizations participated, including The Voice Foundation Thailand and SOS Animal Thailand Foundation.
Through this campaign, a total of 45 stray animals successfully found new homes.
The event also featured appearances from key figures behind the movie, such as producer Wanwanrdee Pongsittisak, director Atta Hemwadee, and cast members including Jaonaay Jinjett and Tu Tontawan.
They shared behind-the-scenes stories and expressed gratitude to fans for supporting the movie.
One of the most touching moments of the event was when rescued animals were officially handed over to their new families.
New pet owners also received starter care kits to help them provide proper care for their pets.
