Overseasidol.com — The misuse of artificial intelligence technology has once again come under public scrutiny after TF Entertainment officially reported a case involving its young trainee, Wang Lujie.

The incident centers on the circulation of manipulated videos created using AI face-swapping (deepfake) and edited content deemed inappropriate.

In an official statement released on May 10, the agency clarified that the videos spreading online were fabricated and maliciously edited.

TF Entertainment strongly condemned the act, calling it a serious violation that harms the reputation and well-being of their artist.

The company has taken legal action by filing a police report. According to the official receipt issued by authorities, the case has been formally accepted and is currently under investigation under allegations of malicious editing and rumor dissemination.

Authorities are now investigating multiple accounts across several online platforms believed to be responsible for producing and spreading the manipulated content.

The report indicates that the complaint was filed around noon on May 10.

TF Entertainment also urged the public and fans to refrain from sharing unverified information.

The agency emphasized the importance of digital responsibility and respecting individual privacy, especially when it involves underage artists.
