More than a year after the passing of Barbie Hsu, discussions surrounding her estate continue to attract public attention.
Recent reports claimed that a luxury property linked to her former husband, Wang Xiaofei, might be sold, while her mother’s living situation also became a topic of speculation.
Through his legal representative, Wang Xiaofei issued a statement explaining that the court has appointed a special legal representative to assist his two minor children with the inheritance process following Barbie Hsu’s passing.
He stated that the children are legally entitled to two-thirds of the estate and confirmed that he has established a trust account to safeguard and manage their inheritance.
Regarding DJ Koo’s share, Wang Xiaofei said it would be handled according to Koo’s personal decision.
He also noted that DJ Koo had previously expressed his intention to decline the inheritance.
Wang Xiaofei further denied reports claiming he had asked Barbie Hsu’s mother, Huang Chunmei, to move out of the residence that Barbie Hsu had purchased for her.
He stressed that he has never made such a request.
He also confirmed that he continues to pay the monthly mortgage for Barbie Hsu’s former residence in Taipei and has no plans to sell the property. (Overseasidol.com)
