Overseasidol.com — Japanese idol group ≒JOY (Nearly Equal JOY) has officially released the music video (MV) for “Ima, Tsuki wa Michiru” on YouTube.

The song expresses pure feelings for a loved one and was originally written by the group’s producer, Rino Sashihara, for HKT48.

In the ≒JOY version, Renon Esumi takes the center position. The MV features beautiful dance scenes on a school rooftop at night, along with playful moments of the members inside the school.

Rino Sashihara shared her thoughts, saying that although the result differs from her original vision, the song has finally been revived with brighter arrangements and the members’ powerful vocals.

This track will also serve as the theme song for ≒JOY’s nationwide tour “Our moon is getting full”, which kicks off tomorrow, August 17.
