Overseasidol.com — The third idol group produced by Rino Sashihara, following =LOVE and ≠ME, ≒JOY (Nearly Equal Joy), continues to rise in popularity.
Their third single “Blue Hawaii Lemon”, released in June, surpassed 233,000 copies shipped, marking their highest record to date.
The music video, a refreshing love song likening bittersweet emotions to shaved ice, has also exceeded 4 million views on YouTube.
Today, the group released their new single “Near Joy Ondo”, available on digital platforms.
Written by Rino Sashihara and composed by YUU for YOU and Yu-ki Kokubo, the song was first unveiled as a surprise during the Tokyo concert of their ongoing national tour “Our moon is getting full” on September 23 at Tachikawa Stage Garden.
With Reoto Esumi as the center, “Near Joy Ondo” features cheerful Japanese festival rhythms with taiko drums, bells, and flutes.
The members performed in yellow happi coats, captivating fans with their vibrant stage energy.
In celebration of the digital release, a LINE MUSIC campaign has also been launched, where fans can win special prizes based on streaming numbers.
