In a recent interview, Yang Yang candidly shared his feelings during his absence, moving many fans.
Speaking to CCTV.com, Yang Yang explained that he chose to reduce his public appearances after receiving negative feedback on certain roles.
“At that time, some characters I played might not have been well-received, so I decided to appear less often, focus on being an actor, and try other roles to perform them well,” he said.
He clarified that he did not take a break from acting, but his public exposure decreased because his works had yet to be released.
Yang Yang also embraced criticism as part of his artistic journey. “Every experience is a valuable opportunity for growth,” he added.
