Overseasidol.com — On May 20, Taiwanese media reported a new development in the ongoing tension between Barbie Hsu’s mother, Huang Chunmei, and her former son-in-law, Wang Xiaofei.
Speaking candidly to the press, S Mom voiced her frustration, stating that Wang Xiaofei has yet to repay his debts and still occupies a private parking space at their residence.
“He still owes money, and it’s exhausting. His car is parked in the basement. Every time I see it, it just irritates me,” she lamented.
The luxury vehicle in question, once a symbol of prestige, is now covered in cardboard boxes, ironically the same boxes once used to package high-end ginseng supplements perhaps a metaphor for the deterioration of what was once a high-profile family connection.
Huang currently resides with her younger daughter, Xiao S, at the upscale ‘National Art Gallery’ residence, valued at over NT$2 billion.
However, despite the lavish setting, the parking dispute has become an unexpected source of domestic tension.
Wang Xiaofei has yet to comment publicly on the matter. However, his current wife Mandy has expressed confusion over Huang’s approach, questioning why the issue wasn’t handled through legal means.
“If it’s such a problem, why not get a lawyer involved?” Mandy said, according to media coverage.
Adding fuel to the fire, a leaked conversation, allegedly between S Mom and Mandy—has circulated online. In the exchange, S Mom reportedly messaged with biting words.
“Congrats on the wedding. Can you replace that old car now? Your husband still owes money, how much longer is he going to avoid it?,” Huang said.
