Overseasidol.com — Thai idol groups BNK48 and CGM48 have officially announced an exciting Thailand–Japan special project, drawing massive attention from fans across Asia.
The project will feature a special single performed by eight members, selected through a public voting system.
The collaboration brings together top artists from both countries. Renowned Thai rapper F.HERO will serve as the music producer, while popular Thai singer Lamyai Haithongkham joins the project as a featured collaborator.
Adding a strong Japanese presence, legendary musician Carl Smoky Ishii will also take part in the song.
The project’s first live performance is scheduled to take place in Thailand in April, followed by the first performance in Japan in May, highlighting the project’s strong international concept and cultural exchange.
Voting to select the eight participating members will be open from January 16 at 12:00 PM to February 15 at 12:00 PM (local time), giving fans a direct role in shaping this historic collaboration.
This special project is expected to strengthen ties between the Thai and Japanese music industries while offering BNK48 and CGM48 members a valuable opportunity to showcase their talent on a global stage.
