Overseasidol.com — Thai idol group BNK48 has officially released their 20th single titled “Masaka no Confession” or “The Unexpected Confession”.

The song captures the sweet, nostalgic feeling of young love, making listeners reminisce about their own teenage days.

The first live performance and music video premiere took place on November 2, 2025, at 6:30 PM at MBK Center in Bangkok, drawing an enthusiastic crowd of fans.

The official online MV premiere followed later the same evening at 9:00 PM, marking BNK48’s much-anticipated comeback.

Music Video in this comeback is so heartwarming school-themed story about a first love that arrives when least expected.

The single’s lyrics were written by Yasushi Akimoto, with music composed by Masahiro Mizoguchi and arrangement by Yuuichi “Masa” Nonaka.

The Thai lyrics adaptation was handled by Tanupop Notayanont, who is known for skillfully localizing AKB48 Group songs while preserving their original essence.

The senbatsu lineup for this release includes Hoop, Monet, Micha, Pancake, Yoghurt, L, Marine, Proud, Emmy, Niya, Praew, and Janry, with Janry taking the spotlight as the center. Her appointment as center has attracted attention from fans, marking a major milestone in her growing career within BNK48.
