Overseasidol.com — On October 18, Bosco Wong was among the first to send his congratulations after William Chan and He Sui announced the birth of their child.
During an interview, Wong joked with reporters, saying, “Don’t be so nosy!” but then sincerely added his best wishes, encouraging Chan to “be a devoted dad,”.
Wong shared, “I congratulated him on my way here. He thanked me, and I told him, ‘Wow, you really kept this secret well!’ Then I said, ‘Keep it up and be a good father!’,”.
The two actors became close after co-starring in the 2014 film Golden Brother, where Wong played Sit Ho-yung and Chan played Sit Ho-ching, a pair of brothers dealing with family responsibilities and personal growth.
Fans found Wong’s words “be a good dad” touching, interpreting them as a continuation of their brotherly bond from the movie.
Interestingly, Chan’s character in the film ends up marrying a model and having a child, mirroring his real-life story with He Sui.
Netizens couldn’t help but joke, “The movie has become reality!,”.
