Overseasidol.com — At the Hokori no Oka roadshow event held on October 12, CGM48 officially announced the details for their 10th single, featuring a brand-new original song titled “Dai (Dai) Mai”.
This release marks another milestone for the Chiang Mai-based idol group, known for blending Northern Thai charm with the energetic spirit of 48 Group music.
The single will feature 12 senbatsu members: Else, Emma, Ginna, Jingjing, Kwan, Lingling, Lookked, Nana, Nisha, Ploen, Prae, and Shenae.
The song will have double centers, with Nisha and Ploen leading the performance. Fans described the track as having a distinctly “Chiang Mai vibe” reflecting CGM48’s local identity.
In addition, the coupling song for this single will be a cover of AKB48’s classic hit “Baby! Baby! Baby!”, first released as the Japanese group’s 9th single.
The same 12 senbatsu members will perform this cheerful and nostalgic track, with Kwan taking the main spotlight for the coupling song.
This announcement has already sparked excitement among fans, who are eagerly awaiting the group’s return with fresh energy and an authentic Northern Thai touch.
