Overseasidol.com — On August 18, China’s National Radio and Television Administration (NRTA) issued new guidelines to promote the supply of high-quality TV and radio content.
The statement emphasized the need to strengthen content creation and expand the availability of premium broadcasting materials.
The initiative includes the implementation of the “Content Reborn Program”, aimed at enhancing innovation.
The NRTA also plans to improve policies on TV drama episode limits, seasonal drama intervals, and streamline the review process to boost efficiency.
Other measures include promoting ultra high-definition (UHD) productions, supporting high-quality documentaries and animations, and encouraging micro-dramas to be broadcast on television.
In addition, China will facilitate the introduction of outstanding international programs into the domestic market.
The administration also stressed the importance of strengthening copyright protection and building a more robust legal framework.
These efforts are designed to foster a healthier broadcasting ecosystem and support creative content development in the digital age.
