Overseasidol.com — In the early hours of September 28, under dazzling lights and countless eyes, the new idol boy group X-Gen officially debuted.
The launch took place at the “Debut Night” event hosted at 8UZZGO Night Park, China’s first idol performance and social space.
The venue will also serve as the exclusive stage for X-Gen, pioneering a new fan-interaction entertainment model for Gen Z.
The event delivered a concert-level experience with immersive stage design and interactive lighting.
Fans were able to cheer for their idols both online and offline, breaking traditional barriers between stage and audience.
After intense performances and live voting, seven members were chosen from ten contestants: Cyrus Hu Chengjun, Kyrie Ling Xiyang, Vesper Li Zhengyang, Munai, Tarzan Li Xiaozhuo, Elio Xu Liyang, and Felix Xie Huajie.
Unlike typical idol groups shaped by long closed-door training, X-Gen highlights the authenticity and diverse backgrounds of its members.
They are not factory-made idols but ordinary young people with extraordinary passion.
They represent the resilience and determination of China’s Gen Z, proving that dreams can be achieved through hard work and dedication.
Their debut single Get Up carries a powerful message. The members present themselves as “guides,” using music and dance to inspire people facing confusion in modern urban life.
With an international pop sound and core values rooted in Chinese spirit, the song reflects resilience, growth, and unity.
More than just a debut track, Get Up is a statement of C-Pop’s ambition to reach global audiences
