Overseasidol.com — On June 4, Taiwanese media reportedly that F4 planning a full reunion concert tour in 2026 to mark their 25th debut anniversary.

The initiative is said to be orchestrated by Belief Music, which has been working behind the scenes to bring the quartet together again for a large-scale tour potentially spanning Japan, South Korea, and other parts of Asia.

F4 rose to fame in 2001 through the smash-hit idol drama “Meteor Garden”, which quickly became a cultural phenomenon across the region.

Riding the wave of the show’s success, the four actors formed the boyband F4, debuting with their album “Meteor Rain”, which sold over 200,000 copies within just a week.

Their title track Meteor Rain also earned accolades at Malaysia’s Golden Melody Awards that year.

Despite their immense popularity, the group gradually faded from the spotlight after 2007.

Their last complete public appearance was at the 2013 Chinese Spring Festival Gala, and a partial reunion occurred in 2020 during Jiangsu TV’s One Thousand and One Nights special though only Vanness Wu appeared live, while the rest were present via video projection.

Although official confirmation from the members is still pending, fans across social media are already buzzing with excitement.

Some have even called this the “dream comeback we never thought we’d see”.

At the same time, there’s a tinge of bittersweetness, as fans mourn the likely absence of Shan Cai, the beloved character portrayed by Barbie Hsu, from the reunion.

If the reunion tour does come to life, it will not only be a major event for F4’s long-time fans but also a chance for younger generations to experience a piece of Asian pop culture history live on stage.
