Overseasidol.com — On April 13, Hong Kong TVB actor Lin Zhengfeng, known for his role in News Queen, shared a vlog detailing his post-work journey to Shenzhen for a dental procedure.
In the video, Lin explained that he is currently undergoing orthodontic treatment and needed to have some teeth extracted.
He opted to have the procedure done in Shenzhen due to the high costs in Hong Kong. He noted that a simple tooth extraction in Hong Kong can cost between 700 and 2,500 HKD, about 90 USD.
While removing a wisdom tooth might cost up to 5,000 HKD. If surgery is required, the price can rise to 8,000 HKD or more.
To save money, Lin decided to cross the border into Shenzhen, where he had two teeth extracted for just 630 RMB.
The entire process took only 5 to 10 minutes. He praised the efficiency and affordability of the treatment, highlighting it as a practical alternative for dental care.
