Overseasidol.com — The highly anticipated Japanese movie “Koi ni Itaru Yamai” has released its official trailer along with a full lineup of additional cast members.
The film stars Kento Nagao from idol group Naniwa Danshi and rising actress Anna Yamada, and it is set to hit theaters on October 24, 2025.
Adapted from the popular romance novel by Yuki Shashidou, the story follows Miyamine Nozomi, a shy and introverted high school student played by Nagao Kento.
His life takes a dramatic turn after meeting Kirie Kawa, a radiant and impactful girl who becomes his first love.
Yamada Anna portrays Kirie in a performance that promises emotional depth.
New cast members confirmed to appear include Kotaro Daigo, Yumo Nakai, Tsubasa Nakagawa, Amane Uehara, Momoko Kobayashi, Ayaka Imoto, Shugo Oshinari, Aoba Kawai, Atsuko Maeda, and Takeyuki Mayumi of the group AmBitious.
Their participation adds excitement and star power to the upcoming youth romance.
Nagao and Yamada previously shared the screen in the 2022 film HOMESTAY, but “Koi ni Itaru Yamai” marks their first theatrical feature film together, sparking high anticipation among fans.
