Overseasidol.com — A viewer recently claimed that the cosmetics purchased from Jia Nailiang’s livestream were suspected to be fake, which quickly sparked discussion online.
In response, Jia Nailiang’s team issued a statement denying the accusation. They said that all products sold in the livestream come from official and traceable channels.
His partners and team also reminded the public to be cautious about online rumors.
They explained that in today’s livestream marketplace, a host’s personal reputation is one of the most valuable assets.
Jia Nailiang’s team addressed the concerns directly and clarified that the Guerlain products in question were genuine.
They said the items were shipped by the “Guerlain Official Flagship Store,” operated by LVMH Fragrance and Beauty (Shanghai) Co., Ltd., which is Guerlain’s official company in China.
They also stated that all qualifications were verified before the collaboration.
Jia Nailiang Studio and Yaowang Technology issued a joint statement saying the supply chain was legitimate and fully trackable.
They firmly denied the claim of selling fake goods and called the accusations inaccurate. They also stated they would reserve the right to pursue legal action.
The team promised to follow up on consumer feedback and help handle any after-sales issues.
Meanwhile, the consumer involved said the product had unusual packaging, an abnormal scent, and discomfort after use.
They paid for a third-party test, which concluded that the item was “counterfeit”.
However, the platform requires certification from national inspection agencies, so their complaint could not proceed.
The seller only agreed to a standard seven-day return and refused to admit the product was fake.
