Overseasidol.com — Thai actor and singer Kao Jirayu has stepped in to help residents affected by the severe flooding in many parts of Songkhla province.
He worked together with his mother and family to coordinate relief efforts for people impacted by the floods in Hat Yai and nearby areas.
They also collaborated with two schools in Songkhla to speed up the assistance.
Kao shared a message through his Facebook page, announcing that he and his family had coordinated with Mahawachirawut School and Sumitra School in Songkhla.
Both schools helped prepare meals to distribute to those affected by the floods. He also provided contact numbers for anyone who needed help.
He stated that this relief effort was done entirely from the heart.
Kao decided to use his own personal funds for all expenses and refused donations from any individuals or organizations.
He wanted the aid to reach affected residents quickly and directly, without delays.
