Overseasidol.com — KLP48 or Kuala Lumpur 48, has signed a contract with CARTA MARKETING PRODUCTION to support for their activities in Japan.
KLP48 is one of AKB48’s overseas sister groups and began its activities in July last year.
The group garnered attention right from the start when four Japanese members like Gyoten Yurina, Kurosu Haruka, and Yamane Suzuha from AKB48, along with Kai Kokoro from STU48.
In addition to members from Malaysia, the group includes talents from Hong Kong and Indonesia, creating a vibrant mix of nationalities, languages, and personalities.
In Malaysia, Japanese idol culture is not yet deeply rooted so KLP48 continues to evolve as a new style of idol group by blending with the local entertainment scene.
With the expertise of CARTA MARKETING PRODUCTION, the group aims to accelerate its activities through live performances, fan events, and increased media exposure, supported by strategic marketing assistance.
As their first step into the Japanese market, KLP48 is scheduled to perform at the music event “GIRLS GROOVE INNOVATION” on April 5–6 at Toyosaki Kaihin Park, ChuraSUN Beach in Okinawa.
CARTA MARKETING FIRM is also part of the event’s organizing committee, marking this opportunity as a significant launchpad for KLP48’s future in Japan.
