Overseasidol.com — On October 14, Chinese actor Li Yapeng and actress Hai Ha Jinxi released a video officially announcing their divorce.
In the clip, they stated, “We have completed the divorce procedures earlier. Our child will live with the mother, and both of us will share custody.”
The caption in the video explained that they initially wanted to keep things private.
However, due to the many messages and concerns from friends, they decided to make the news public.
The message ended with the line, “It started with this song, and it ends with this song,”.
Li Yapeng has been married twice. His first marriage was to the renowned singer Faye Wong. The couple married in 2005 and had a daughter together.
They divorced in September 2013, with Li gaining custody of their daughter, Li Yan.
His second wife, Hai Ha Jinxi, was born in 1990, making her 19 years younger than Li.
The two married a few years after publicly revealing their relationship in 2020 and welcomed a daughter in March 2022.
Earlier in May 2025, Hai Ha Jinxi addressed rumors of their separation, saying they had not been together for a while but denied any major issues or divorce.
Now, the couple has confirmed their official separation, marking the end of their three-year marriage.
