Overseasidol.com — Thai celebrity couple Mai Davika and Ter Chantavit made their first public appearance together following their engagement.
During a recent interview, the couple revealed that they plan to tie the knot later this year, although they haven’t finalized a specific date yet.
“We’ve been discussing marriage for a long time,” Mai shared. “We already have a clear idea of what we want. All that’s left is to put the plans into motion,”.
The media and fans were particularly intrigued by reports that Ter would be moving into Mai’s family property.
Mai clarified the situation, explaining that she comes from a single-parent household and lives with her 70-year-old mother.
“I really can’t leave my mother alone,” she said. “Ter is incredibly sweet and understanding—he agreed to build a house on our family land.”
She explained that her family owns five rai of land (approximately 2 hectares), and she sold Ter one rai.
However, the land deed remains in her name. “We’re not living in the same house,” Mai added.
“We share the same yard, but our houses are separate. It gives us our own space,” she explained.
Ter confirmed he’s fully on board with the arrangement. “We have no intention of separating,” he said confidently.
When a reporter joked that everything Ter owns now belongs to Mai, he replied with a laugh, “Yes, of course. That’s how it should be,”.
He also shared that a portion of the land will be used as a home for his mother.
“As children, we all want to provide a comfortable place for our parents. My mom gets along great with Mai’s family.
In fact, they came here together today, they’re basically part of the same friend circle,” Mai shared.
