Overseasidol.com — Taiwanese entertainer Mickey Huang is once again in the spotlight for the wrong reasons.
On August 16, 2025, while driving in Sanchong District, New Taipei City, he collided with a female motorcyclist and left the scene before police arrived.
Authorities later charged him with hit-and-run and negligent injury.
The incident occurred at around 7 a.m. when Huang allegedly failed to maintain a safe distance and hit a woman riding a scooter.
Surveillance showed his car stopping briefly for two seconds before leaving. The victim suffered multiple abrasions on her face, arm, elbow, and knee.
She sought medical treatment and then reported the case to police. This adds to Huang’s ongoing legal battles.
In 2023, he was accused of sexual harassment and later found in possession of 2,259 illegal videos involving minors, purchased from an underground platform called “Creative Private Room”.
He was sentenced to eight months in prison in the first trial. The case is now in appeal, with several mediation sessions held due to the large number of victims.
By May 2025, Huang had reached settlements with 30 out of 35 victims, paying compensation totaling millions of NT dollars.
The outcome of these agreements could influence the final sentence in his appeal, possibly reducing his prison term or leading to a suspended sentence.
