Overseasidol.com — NAQT VANE, the forward-thinking and genre-bending music collective, has officially unveiled their latest concept mini album, “NV”.
The release marks a new chapter for the group with the addition of Yunoa, a rising star in the dark pop scene, joining Harukaze as a co-lead vocalist.
Yunoa’s presence brings a revitalized energy to the group, transforming key tracks from their debut album “Dispersion” with a bold twin vocal arrangement that redefines their sound.
The EP introduces the “NV Series”, a creative reinterpretation of selected songs from “Dispersion”, enriched through collaborative experimentation. Among the reimagined tracks is “FALLOUT”, which previously garnered attention as the theme song for the film That Person Disappeared.
The EP also includes two brand-new tracks that represent the next sonic evolution for NAQT VANE.
A highlight of the EP is “Ditty – NV”, an upbeat and energizing track filled with vibrant positivity. The song features chant-like vocal layers, dynamic melodies, and rap elements, creating a motivational anthem that encourages listeners to keep moving forward.
“Ditty – NV” encapsulates NAQT VANE’s signature style—dark pop infused with an unstoppable spirit and optimism.
More than just a listening experience, “NV” is also a collectible physical release. Each CD comes with a unique cover design, special edition numbering, and an actual puzzle piece, ensuring that no two copies are identical and giving fans something truly exclusive to treasure.
To complement the EP’s release, NAQT VANE has launched their “NAQT VANE Prologue Tour 2025 – DUOVERSE ep.1”, which kicked off on February 16, 2025, in Sapporo.
The tour spans four cities with a total of eight performances.
Each city will feature both day and night shows with distinct setlists and stage productions, symbolising the contrasting personas of the duo as “the sun and the moon”.
Alongside the tour, NAQT VANE has also introduced two new tracks, “C” and “O”, further enriching the “NV” experience.
