Overseasidol.com — On November 2, the Chinese drama “Love in the Clouds” officially came to an end.
Lead actor Hou Minghao took to social media to share a heartfelt message as he bid farewell to his character Ji Bozai.
Hou wrote that the story of “Love in the Clouds” began with a game of wins and losses but ended in mutual understanding and growth.
“Ji Bozai risked everything and finally found true love,” he said. The actor reflected on how fate treated his character harshly at first but also gave him a chance to rediscover love.
Hou expressed that he felt lucky to walk alongside Ji Bozai throughout the journey.
Saying goodbye was difficult for him, but he believed that the once-lonely character would not remain alone forever.
“Parting with Love in the Clouds leaves me with many thoughts. I’m grateful to everyone who genuinely loved this series and shared their feelings about it,” he added.
He also mentioned reading fan discussions and felt moved that viewers truly understood his character.
“Thank you all for your support. Ji Bozai feels your sincerity. Having you all is a blessing,” Hou wrote.
He concluded with a touching message, “After Wuguihai, things will surely get lively. Ji Bozai won’t be lonely anymore. Every day from now on will be like today truly wonderful,”.
