A circulating video captured a loud impact sound as he was hit in the face, after which he immediately covered his face and nearly collapsed, struggling to recover.

Later, Wang shared photos showing bruising and swelling around his eye.

He informed fans that he had returned to his hotel and reassured everyone not to worry, saying he would take proper rest.

On November 23, the production team issued an official apology.

They explained that the injury occurred due to incorrect positioning during the scene, which resulted in an unintended strike.

A wound of approximately one centimeter had been stitched, and they promised to cover all medical expenses and provide further care.

Wang revealed that his injury required three stitches and that he now needs time to recover. As a result, filming has been temporarily suspended.

His management team stated that the incident caused significant losses and that they would pursue accountability.

The co-actor involved, Lü Yihao, also issued a public apology.

He admitted that the distance during filming was too close and that he failed to properly control the strength and angle of his movement, leading to Wang’s injury.

He expressed deep remorse and pledged to take full responsibility.
