Overseasidol.com — On October 11, popular idol group SKE48 celebrated its 17th anniversary with a grand concert at Niterra Nihon Tokushu Togyō Civic Center Forest Hall in Nagoya.

The venue was packed with fans as 48 members delivered passionate performances that filled the hall with excitement.

The first day of the two-day anniversary concert featured a team battle singing competition, where each team performed five songs.

The highlight came when the teams performed their signature hits Team E with “Juryoku Sympathy”, Team S with “Koi wo Kataru Shijin ni Narenakut,” and Team KII with “Kizashi”.

The crowd’s energy reached its peak as fans sang and danced along. After the encore, Team S made an exciting announcement.

The group will launch a new original stage performance titled “Zutto Kimi wo Sagashiteiru” (I’ve Been Searching for You) starting April 26, 2026, featuring 16 brand-new songs.

Team S leader Honoka Aikawa expressed her excitement, saying, “We are so happy to have the opportunity to perform a new original stage. I’m thrilled to take on this challenge with this amazing team. Please look forward to it!,”.

This will be SKE48’s 7th original setlist after “Koedashite Iko ze!!!” which premiered in 2023.
