The court determined that he failed to fulfill all contractual obligations and has now imposed restrictions on high-value spending.
According to judicial documents, Siba alleged that Chen Hongyu breached their artist agreement by privately accepting expensive gifts from fans.
This is making unauthorized direct contact with them, engaging in unapproved collaborations with third parties, and posting images or videos containing other individuals without proper consent.
These actions were deemed violations of his exclusive contract.
The court ultimately ruled that the exclusive artist contract between the two parties was terminated on September 29, 2024, and ordered Chen Hongyu to pay 550,000 yuan as penalty for breaching the agreement.
