The decision came after a series of inappropriate actions by the influencer, which allegedly caused harm to the reputation of actress Yu Shuxin and her fans.
According to the statement, the influencer’s actions including sharing screenshots of private work-related communications, posting comments about the artist on social media, and creating a so-called “clarification group” were entirely personal behaviors and had no connection to the company’s official stance.
Snowball Music also admitted to internal management issues, stating that certain staff members failed to properly guide and manage the situation.
As a disciplinary measure, the company confirmed that those involved had been formally reprimanded and had their quarterly bonuses deducted.
“Snowball Music sincerely apologizes to Yu Shuxin, her fans, and the public for the distress caused by this incident,” the company stated.
