Overseasidol.com — Japanese idol group STU48 has officially begun the audition process for its 4th generation members starting today, April 5, 2025.
The audition is open to girls born between April 2, 2001, and April 1, 2014, which includes students from 6th grade to 24 years old.
The first application period will run from April 5 to May 8, 2025. Those who pass this stage will proceed to the second round of auditions, which will take place in three locations within the Setouchi region: Hiroshima, Takamatsu, and Kobe.
This round will focus on self-promotion, where candidates are encouraged to present themselves as best as they can.
The second round of auditions is scheduled for May 31 in Hiroshima, June 1 in Takamatsu, and June 7 in Kobe.
Specific venue details will only be shared with those who advance to this stage. Please note that dates are subject to change.
Applicants must submit their form only once through STU48’s official website. Successful candidates of the document screening will be notified via email from the @stu48.com domain.

Those who pass the audition must be able to reside in or near Hiroshima City and be available to perform regularly. T
hey will also be required to sign an exclusive contract with STU48’s official agency. No prior experience in entertainment is required.
