The group continues to use its platform to promote the significance of peace and cultural understanding, particularly among younger generations.

Several members of STU48 hail from Hiroshima and Nagasaki, two cities that endured the atomic bombings in 1945.

As a generation that has never experienced war, STU48 aims to preserve and share stories from the past, and through this song, they hope to inspire people to value peace and unity symbolized by the clear blue sky.

The song is included in the group’s 12th single titled “Kizutsuku Koto ga Seishun da,” set to release on August 27, 2025.

Streaming of “Aozora wo Katariaou” begins on August 13, but the full audio is already available on STU48’s official YouTube channel.

Importantly, all digital sales proceeds from this song will be donated to Hiroshima City to support initiatives for a peaceful world.
