Overseasidol.com — Jeff Satur fans became furious after Thai host Tao TVPool made sarcastic comments about their idol during a livestream.
Tao implied that he did not know Jeff and referred to him as a “local artist” chosen to perform at the 74th Miss Universe pageant, which Thailand will host under Nawat Itsaragrisil.
Tao also said that Miss Universe usually invites international stars with globally famous songs, not “local artists” and claimed this showed the organizer lacked money.
Jeff Satur eventually responded. He posted on platform X, writing, “It’s real… people can hate someone they never even knew,”. His post gained massive support.
Netizens also united to defend Jeff. Many criticized Tao for belittling him, saying: “Wow… in this era, you don’t know Jeff Satur?”, “Jeff is famous everywhere, especially in Latin America,” and “His concerts in Malaysia, Taiwan, Hong Kong, and Latin America are all sold out. So who is the ‘local’ one here?,”.
