Overseasidol.com — On September 29, Takuto Teranishi, a member of timelesz, appeared live on Fuji TV’s lifestyle program “Nonstop!” and shared some quirky details about his preferences in women, leaving fans and hosts intrigued.

During the live broadcast, Teranishi revealed that he finds it attractive when women squint slightly while trying to see something far away.

“I have pretty good eyesight myself, so maybe that’s why I’m drawn to that look,” he said with a laugh.

While the hosts jokingly called his taste “a bit unusual,” even pointing out how squinting might cause forehead wrinkles, Teranishi doubled down, saying, “That’s part of the charm too.”

This isn’t the first time the singer-actor has made headlines for his unique tastes.

In a late-night show last month, he mentioned being attracted to “people hesitating at a crosswalk without traffic lights” — suggesting that he’s often drawn to individuals who seem fragile or subtly vulnerable.

Teranishi also opened up briefly about his personal life.

He described his home as generally tidy, and said he enjoys soaking in the bath, often wearing pajamas made from merchandise of his favorite movies.

“I like being surrounded by the things I love,” he said warmly.

His appearance on the show also served to promote his upcoming stage play, “Shin Gakyoujin Hokusai,” which will premiere on October 17 at Kinokuniya Hall in Shinjuku, Tokyo.

Despite over 15 years of acting experience, Teranishi shared that this will be his first time wearing traditional wigs and kimono, and performing with historically accurate Edo-period gestures.

“It’s a full-on historical drama,” he explained, inviting fans to see a new side of his acting.
