Overseasidol.com — Chinese star Wang Yibo is rumored to not renew his contract with Yuehua Entertainment, as recent business filings suggest he is preparing for greater independence in his career.
According to Tianyancha App, Wang Yibo is currently associated with four companies, three of which remain active.
These include Beijing Boyuan Cultural Technology Co., Ltd., Tianjin Horizon Network Technology Co., Ltd., and Shanghai Yibo Cultural Media Studio, all focusing on technology and media-related industries.
In these companies, Wang Yibo holds executive roles such as supervisor.
Notably, Tianjin Horizon Network Technology Co., Ltd., in which Wang Yibo holds a 70% ownership stake, has recently filed multiple trademark registrations for “Wang Yibo,” “Yebo,” and “WANGYIBO”.
The international trademark categories cover transportation equipment, lighting and air-conditioning, and musical instruments.
Several of these trademarks have already been successfully approved.
Fans and industry insiders see these moves as a strong sign that Wang Yibo is establishing his own brand identity beyond Yuehua Entertainment.
Whether or not he officially leaves the agency, it’s clear that Wang Yibo is laying the groundwork for a more independent and diversified career path in both entertainment and business.
