Xu captivated fans with his vibrant orange hair, a sleek black suit paired with a crisp white shirt, and oversized black sunglasses. With a full live performance, the energy on stage was nothing short of explosive.

As the band’s lead vocalist, Xu Weizhou infused PROME with a distinctive vocal identity.

He performs alongside guitarist Yi Xin, bassist Ma Jichao, and drummer Xie Yuanyu, four talented musicians who together form this high-energy rock ensemble.

The name PROME is derived from “Prometheus,” the mythological figure who created a new human world and brought fire to mankind, taking on great risk in the process.

Xu explained that the band’s goal is simple: to share their music with the public like any passionate musician would.

He first formed PROME during high school at the age of 17, and this relaunch marks a continuation of his musical dream as he reunites with fellow music lovers.

Xu further revealed that PROME also symbolizes “PRO + ME,” representing self-elevation and a renewed interpretation of the band’s identity.

He hopes audiences can witness the transformation and experience the fresh energy that PROME now brings to the rock music scene.
