Overseasidol.com — Chinese actor Xu Zhenxuan has recently become the focus of attention after his studio issued an official statement condemning obsessive fan behavior, commonly referred to as sasaeng activities.
In the announcement released on January 27, the studio confirmed that they have gathered evidence and reported the incidents to the police.
According to the statement, there have been repeated cases of individuals allegedly stalking the actor, lingering near his residence, and waiting outside his private home.
Some parties were also accused of intruding into the artist’s personal space to take unauthorized photos and sell them, while others spread false rumors about his private life online.
The studio stressed that such actions constitute serious violations of privacy and personal reputation, as well as clear breaches of the law.
They made it clear that this behavior will not be tolerated and that legal action will be pursued against those responsible.
The statement also included a public reminder about relevant legal regulations. Under recently implemented public security laws, harassment, stalking, and other forms of interference with a person’s daily life can result in detention and fines.
Secretly photographing, recording, or distributing someone’s private information without consent may also lead to administrative or criminal penalties.
