Overseasidol.com — Recently, actor and singer Han Geng shared insights into his marriage with actress Celina Jade.
During an episode of the reality show “Viva La Romance”, Han Geng spoke candidly about the emotional dynamics between them as a married couple.
He revealed that one of the things Celina dislikes the most in their relationship is feeling misunderstood.
“When she feels that what she says isn’t understood, she gets very upset,” Han Geng explained.
He also talked about how the two of them handle conflicts.
During arguments, Celina often needs a comforting hug, but Han Geng admitted that he sometimes finds it difficult to give that in the heat of the moment.
“I just can’t do it. I told her, I’m also emotional right now. I can’t genuinely hug you because I’m angry too. I’m in that same emotional space,” he said.
He described how they sometimes remain in a stalemate, both needing space before they can reconnect.
“After we both calm down, she goes to the car, I follow her there, and when we’re both more composed, that’s when I hug her. I feel like only then I’m truly able to give her that hug,” he added.
Han Geng concluded by saying that he doesn’t want to offer a hug just because it’s expected.
He also said, “I can’t hug her just because she needs it, not when I’m still emotional. I simply don’t have the energy for that,”.
