Overseasidol.com — Japanese boy group JO1 has officially announced a special two-day anniversary event, JO1 5th Anniversary Matsuri, set for October 18 and 19.
The celebration will take place at a special venue along Tokyo Bay’s Sea Forest Waterway, marking JO1’s first-ever outdoor solo concert since their debut.
The event promises a one-of-a-kind fusion of Japanese traditional culture, live JO1 performances, and music, all highlighted by over 15,000 fireworks lighting up the night sky across two days.
It will be one of the largest fireworks showcases in the Tokyo metropolitan area, designed as a grand highlight of their milestone fifth year.
Under the JO1 5th Anniversary Project, the group has already accomplished several groundbreaking achievements.
These include their first world tour, the release of their compilation album BE CLASSIC, and a historic performance at Tokyo Dome.
Their second documentary film, JO1 THE MOVIE “Mikansei” -Bon Voyage-, is also currently a box office hit across Japan.
The JO1 5th Anniversary Matsuri will serve as the pinnacle of this anniversary project, offering an unforgettable experience for their fans, JAM.
