Overseasidol.com — Thai actor War Wanarat recently underwent knee surgery after suffering a serious injury that left many fans concerned.

Yesterday, he made his first public appearance post-surgery, arriving in a wheelchair but still determined to meet the media and share his condition.

War revealed that the injury was a torn anterior cruciate ligament (ACL), which required immediate surgery.

He admitted it was his first time being hospitalized, receiving IV drips, and undergoing surgery. Instead of fear, he described the experience as new and even “grand.”

Now in recovery, War is undergoing daily physical therapy. His progress has been so quick that doctors were surprised, asking why he was “healing so fast”.

He explained that he initially thought it was just a minor injury, but during a check-up he found it worsening.

An MRI confirmed the ligament tear, and doctors decided on surgery the same day.

According to medical assessments, War could walk normally in one to two months, and resume running or sports within three months, faster than the usual four-month recovery time.

He feels relieved that his current projects do not require dancing or heavy physical movement, though he regrets having to pause his favorite sports for several months.

Speaking about the future, War admitted he may feel cautious when exercising again, but believes he will overcome it step by step.

He also mentioned that his close friend and co-star Yin Anan recently injured his foot while playing football, and they have been checking in on each other as a reminder of the importance of safety.

War ended by expressing heartfelt gratitude to fans and friends, “Every message and every word of encouragement gives me more strength to keep going with rehabilitation,.”
