Studio Confirms: Zhou Keyu Has Officially Become a Chinese Citizen

Overseasidol.com — The studio representing Daniel Zhou Keyu has issued an official statement on December 5, confirming that the artist has formally obtained Chinese citizenship.

The announcement was posted through the studio’s social media account, addressing public curiosity surrounding his nationality.

The statement reads, “Thank you for your concern. Mr. Zhou Keyu has always carried deep love and loyalty for his homeland.

He will continue to contribute to the country in the future.” The message clarified the matter and reaffirmed Zhou’s commitment to China.

Born on May 17, 2002, in the United States, Zhou Keyu spent much of his childhood in China, attending an international school.

After 2009, he and his brother were raised by their eldest sibling.

Zhou Keyu first gained major recognition through the idol survival show “Chuang 2021 (Produce Camp 2021)”.

During the final episode on April 24, 2021, he ranked 10th and debuted as a member of the global boy group INTO1.

Following the group’s disbandment on April 24, 2023, Zhou launched his solo music career. On April 26, he released “Sunset City”, the pre-release single from his debut album.

His first full album, “IF I MAY” was officially released on May 17, further establishing his path as a solo artist.
