Overseasidol.com — Chinese singer and public figure Allen Lin has shared exciting news with fans after confirming that he has been selected as a torchbearer for the 2026 Milan–Cortina Winter Olympics.
On December 25, Lin took to social media to reveal the official invitation letter from the Olympic Organizing Committee, expressing his pride and gratitude for the honor.
In his post, Lin described the opportunity as a great privilege and thanked the organizers for placing their trust in him.
The torchbearer selection process was officially reviewed and approved by the Milan–Cortina Olympic Committee, with a total of 10,001 torchbearers chosen worldwide.
Each participant will carry the Olympic flame for a distance of approximately 200 to 300 meters, while specific dates and routes will be announced at a later time.
This marks Allen Lin Yilun’s second involvement as an Olympic torchbearer, following his participation in the Beijing 2008 Summer Olympics.
Over the years, he has remained actively engaged in Olympic volunteer work and sports promotion initiatives.
