Following her continuous success in popular titles, Jane has officially started filming a new horror-thriller film titled Phantom in Taiwan.
The announcement has quickly generated excitement among fans eager to see her next big-screen transformation.
Directed by Lester Hsi, Phantom is produced by D-Day Pictures in collaboration with Mokster Film.
Jane Methika stars alongside Taiwanese actor Rhydian Vaughan, also known as Feng Hsiao Yue.
The film follows the story of Lin Yu Mo, a social worker who is transferred to care for individuals suffering from mental health issues, only to become entangled in a mysterious death connected to disturbing supernatural phenomena.
As the story unfolds, Lin Yu Mo discovers that these terrifying events stem from forbidden experiments and chilling rituals.
Drawing inspiration from ancient Taoist beliefs and reimagined legends of invisible humans, Phantom offers a fresh and atmospheric take on psychological horror.
Notably, the film was officially showcased at the Cannes Film Festival 2025 and has already secured distribution deals across seven Southeast Asian countries
