Overseasidol.com — Chinese actor Tian Xuning has taken legal action following the spread of defamatory allegations on social media.
In an official statement, his studio clarified that claims made by a Douyin user known as “Jiu Cheng Mei”, including accusations of “secret marriage and having a child” and “infidelity during a partner’s pregnancy”, are false and constitute reputational harm.
The studio confirmed that a legal team has been appointed to secure evidence and formally file a lawsuit.
The move is part of ongoing efforts to protect the actor’s reputation from misleading and harmful online content.
According to business registry records, the case involving online infringement liability disputes has already proceeded to court hearings.
The lawsuit targets multiple individuals, including a user operating under the name “Tiantian kaixin shenghuo shunli” and another individual surnamed Liu.
Notably, one of the accused, the user “Tiantian kaixin shenghuo shunli”, has issued a public apology.
In the statement, the individual admitted to fabricating and spreading false information, expressed deep regret, and pledged not to engage in similar actions in the future.
